Printing barcode labels

At IRRI, we have 2 kinds of thermal printers:

1. Intermec desktop printers (PD42-PD43) - these are locally installed in a computer but can be shared in the network
2. Zebra portable printers (P4T) - these are used in the field and in the genebank , connected via paired bluetooth either in a tablet or laptop.

The workflow usually is a scan-print function. Scan first the barcode produced in the previous step/function then the system will generate and print the new barcode label corresponding only to that particular inventory/accession scanned.
