In-vitro inventory management

@mtchamba lists the following in vitro processes:

  • Data pushed into the inventory system
  • Registration of new inventory item and assign location (crop name, container type, date, quantity, subculture date, introduction date, indexing status e.g. Virus free / not virus free)
  • Store for further growth in the growth chamber for 4 to 6 weeks depending on the crop
  • Growth monitoring (sorting of necrosis and contaminations)
  • Conservation in medium term storage (slow growth)
  • Quality Management, (sorting and scanning out for necrosis and contaminations)
  • Regeneration for continuous germplasm (sub-culturing and micropropagation)
  • Data export interface
